Coffee Shop

Excellent coffee is at the core of our business. After all ‘Caracoli’ means a coffee bean which develops singly inside the coffee cherry, which normally contains two. Caracoli beans occur in all regions of the world, on all types of coffee bush. Since flavour is concentrated when only a single bean is grown inside the cherry, Caracoli beans are highly prized....

Tea

Just because we love coffee doesn’t mean we don’t take tea seriously. We have an extensive range of T2 teas from Melbourne to choose from – both loose leaf tea, herbal and fruit tisanes. They have wonderfully evocative names such as Monk Pear, Gorgeous Geisha and Girlie Grey and the taste certainly matches up to the names. These are also for sale in our Food Store and Online.

Baking

Cakes and Biscuits are all made at our kitchen every day. We like to make seasonal cakes such as Hampshire Ale cake in the winter and Passionfruit and Orange cake in the summer. We never cut corners with the quality of the ingredients we use or with the pride and care we take in hand making our cakes.

Lunch

Lunch at Caracoli is a tempting range of warm hearty soups, filled focaccia rolls, award winning scotch eggs, home made sausage rolls, Melton Mowbray pork pies and fresh summer salads. In Alresford this selection is complemented by homemade dishes from our in house kitchen made with seasonal ingredients.

Food Store

Entering a Caracoli food store you find yourself lured by a plethora of tempting foods and food items. Gail Nichols is the main buyer and she invests much energy and time in sourcing unusual and distinctive foods. We love the idea of our customers coming to us for a spot on cappuccino but having time to wander amongst the myriad of food items that we have for sale.
